I Am A ...

What’s In A Name?

“What do you want to be called? What best fits you?” I was asked as a participant of a global wellness project.

Hmmm… Ask for guidance.

For me, the ‘healer’ in Sound Healer supposes broken pieces to be fixed. We are all perfect, nothing to fix, an opportunity to evolve.

I ask the ethers, “What’s my title to best describe the present because life vibrationally aligns perfectly in all its imperfections?”

A deep powerful voice bellows. It resonates from within, “Keeper of the Open Heart.”

I AM the Keeper of the Open Heart. It rings true, it resonates, it sings in me.

A guardian to hold the heart space open for all. Embody all we choose. All to win and none to lose. Be a treasure. Ease and grace forever.

Words are powerful. Words intoxicate. Words translate and transport. Help sail through the portal gates, through the needle’s eye.

Marvel at the wonder of word’s ability to create, to manifest. Their very vibration sung or spoken emits a powerful energy to inspire poetry which evolves into your present song.

All that we imagine, we conceive.

What’s your name? What’s your title? All that you imagine is yours to conceive, to be.

I am often asked if I am a Shaman. While I come from a long lineage of seers, the Magyar who fly, the elder whales who sing life into creation, Shaman never felt like a fit.

‘Sha’, likely a native name in Ladakh, means leadership, creativity, the Goddess Durga, individuality, being in the spotlight, innovator. Coupled with the energy of ‘man’ became Sha-man.

“Are you a Shaman?” asked again recently.

Suddenly, effortlessly, knowingly, my deep inner voice spoke without question, “You are a Shamama!”

The word Shamama echoes from within. It feels so right. It feels in me, part of me, a rhythm beating - Sha-mama. It dances off the tongue. It makes me smile.

“I AM a Shamama!” I declare. “I am the Keeper of the Open Heart.”

During all these precious moments as we surf the waves of change, be courageous. Hold the space. Be outrageous. Love is contagious on this miraculous oasis.

Be kind to yourself. Be gentle when you are being fierce. And always remember how much I love you.

Be in Bliss.

Love, Pamela

PS: Words inspire. Stay tuned for my new song, Shamama.
