Bridging My Businesses

How I blended my Financial business with my Sound Healing business.

Usually, I am so easy-going, yet, somehow, at the very mention of adding a Sound Healing page to my LinkedIn profile, I dug in my heels with a big “NO” even though I am a big “YES” gal.

I’ve been a financial services professional for over 20 years using LinkedIn as my financial business social media persona and keeping Facebook for my personal and Sound Healing posts. Like a little kid getting caught doing something naughty, I was terrified at the prospect of either community knowing the multi-faceted aspects of Pamela. So I resisted for almost 8 years. Uncomfortable in my own skin.

Finally in 2020, I said “YES.” As I began to see more sides of my financial colleagues, the Sound Healer in me was eager to introduce herself. But I still held back. Even after the LinkedIn Sound Healing page was complete, it was quite a while before I began to post there and even longer before I would share posts across both my Financial Services page and my Sound Healing page.

During 2020, I was invited by the incoming President of the Financial Planning Association of Miami (FPA), to give a Sound Healing session to the Happy Hour group she hosted on the third Thursday of each month.

It felt like a Coming Out party! I laugh now; however, at the time, I faced a new edge, a new challenge to show up as all that I am in an authentic way.

I was pleasantly surprised when one financial planner who I had known for years and thought was very conservative, “fessed up” that she was a Reiki master! She had probably been holding back too.

Another unexpected and glowing response came from a colleague who loved the peace and calmness he felt from the Sound Healing so much that he attended the next two happy hour sessions primarily for the Sound Healing segment.

I realized that we all face challenges about showing up as our authentic selves. Somewhere along the line, I had assumed and adopted that there were certain arenas and industries that don’t welcome an overlap, that don’t fit in the same box. However, it was me who created the box for myself, no one else. I allowed myself to stay small and compartmentalized to avoid being judged, yet I was the one who was actually doing the judging.

The wonderful reality was that when I opened myself up and stood proudly as my authentic self, I discovered that others were thrilled and delighted to do the same.

Being willing to expand and show who I am, I’ve released the giant inside of me. When you show up in integrity doing what you love, your community feels it and responds. Seemingly impassable paths open up, bridges are crossed, and magic happens.

What new edge in yourself do you face?

We live in a world with a lot of noise, particularly now. There’s a lot of “wah-wah-wah” and that noise can overwhelm , paralyze, and hold us back, especially when we have a big decision to make, don’t feel well, or can’t sleep.

Sound frequencies impact us on a cellular level. They can be a soothing love balm or the lubricant we need to release trauma. Sound Healing can reverse the noise and guide you to a place of peace. And everyone can benefit from a bit more peace and balance.

Sound is a universal healer no matter what language you speak, what profession you practice, or what political or religious views you hold. I’ve guided over 8800 souls from all walks of life with PTSD, addiction, trauma, grief, or uncertainty to a place of peace and balance.

Let’s navigate the waves of change on wings of sound.

In closing, just as I do at the close of all my sound healing sessions, I wish to remind you…
“I love you so much.”

Be in Bliss.

Love, Pamela
